Our group is always striving to learn more about atmospheric, oceanic and climate sciences through live interactions. We take tours of professional establishments such as the National Weather Service, Wind farms and TV news stations to hear from professionals on how they got to where they are today and what we as students can do to be successful in such fields. We also have professionals from the largest organizations such as the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)  talk to us about what we need to do to be the best in our field. 

Aside from going on adventures outside of the University we also have events going on within our College. Talks given by professors that have made it in the industry and research talks about how they succeeded in our recurring AMS Speaker Series.
